Hands-on classes for kids!

At Providence Farmstead, we believe childhood is meant to be muddy, meaningful, and full of wonder. Our Kids Clubs offer a joyful blend of farm life, nature exploration, bushcraft skills, creative arts, physical activity, and homeschool-friendly enrichment. Whether building forts, playing tag, planting seeds, or painting under the trees, children grow confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love for the world around them. The goal is to educate the whole child through play and project based activities that will encourage creative and out-of-the-box thinking to help children understand the world around them and the mightiness of God’s hand in our world.

Our classes exist to teach natural sciences, outdoor education, forest learning, life skills, homesteading, sustainability, arts, and agriculture.

We have several options of classes here that are on and thru our farm.

Farm and Forest Friends is a general class for homeschool children ages (6 through 12), give or take, to be educated through play and project-based learning. This encourages creative and out of the box thinking to help children understand the world around them.

The Mini Naturalist Club (MNC) is a tot and preschool class helping our little kiddos get a taste for nature and explore what it has to offer.

We have several BRAND NEW programs we will be adding!!

Faith in Motion– Our Recess & Bible class gives kids the chance to move, play, and grow — body, mind, and spirit. Each session blends active games and teamwork challenges with a short, engaging Bible lesson that connects movement to meaningful truths.

Brush and Bloom will be a fun weekly art and craft club! Students will learn new techniques and create each week!

Little Homesteaders was created for families who believe childhood is not something to rush through, but something to root deeply. This hybrid enrichment class through The Firefly Guild blends guided instruction with meaningful, hands-on learning designed to help children grow capable, confident, and curious. This curriculum invites children into real work — the kind that connects them to the land, the home, their community, and the generations that came before them. Through seasonal projects, nature study, farm-based learning, scratch cooking, gardening, animal care, crafting, and practical life skills, students experience education in a way that engages their whole being — hands, heart, and mind.

Lastly, a fun brush crafting and outdoor skills club. The Stick and Stone Society will offer lessons on anything from starting a fire to making a basket from what you find in the woods.
