A little about us…

Hello. Welcome to Providence Farmstead’s website.

Our cozy little farm in Clark County, Indiana, focuses on growing good food for growing families. We practice regenerative growing with our pasture- raised poultry, market garden, apiary, and more.

Our family is working to build this once cattle farm into something a bit – more. Fresh veggies are grown without the use of harmful chemicals in as a natural way as possible. We share the dill with the swallowtails, the blossoms with the bees, and, yes, sometimes a head or two of cabbage with the cottontails. In fact, most of the land on our farm is left to the wildlife.

Paths are kept for foot traffic (and for the quail chicks to forage), swaths of milkweed and other natives are left for the monarchs, our honey bees, and other native pollinators, deer make our wooded spaces a nightly stop often.

We Love The Chickens!


My husband and I have been customers of Providence Farmstead for almost 5 years. We’ve enjoyed having their pasture raised chickens in our freezers! We love knowing that their chickens are raised on grass and outdoors rather than how factory farms raise your average store bought chicken. We know that our Providence Farmstead chickens are raised humanely and sustainably to nourish our family. Alicia and Matt not only provide amazing homegrown meat and produce, but they are genuinely wonderful people.

We Love Our CSA Pickups!

We get a variety of vegetables and have enjoyed tasting things we haven’t had before. Our produce has such a great flavor! So fresh and crisp. My family looks forward to the fun extras, such as soap, goat cheese, honey, jelly, and flowers. Alicia is so helpful with how to clean, store, and ideas on how to prepare the new to us vegetables.
